Waseela Appoints New CEO

Waseela (www.waseela.com), a leading ICT System Integrator in the Middle East, announced today that its board has appointed Mr. Bilal Al Anani, its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), to succeed Dr. Samer Taha as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Dr. Samer Taha, who founded Waseela in 2007, and served as its CEO for the last 10 years, decided to step down and take a new role as Chairman of Revonence Technologies International (www.revonence.com), which holds a majority stake in Waseela and represents the technology investment arm of the parent group Dar Al Hai.

Waseela Announces the Completion of the Wireless Network Rollout for the Ministry of Education's Connectivity Project in Jordan

Amman - Waseela, (www.waseela.com), the leading regional Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) system integrator, has announced the completion of a project which will provide high-speed Wireless connectivity between schools and education directories in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, via an advanced wireless network. The ambitious project is part of an agreement signed between Waseela and Umniah Telecom which also includes the design, supply and installation of more than 3,000 high speed wireless connections throughout the kingdom. In a record time, of not more than one year, Waseela was able to complete the project successfully despite facing many difficulties associated with the sheer size of the network.

Waseela Appoints Bilal Al-Anani as CTO

Waseela, the leading regional Information and Communication Technology (ICT) system integrator, announced today the appointment of Mr. Bilal Al Anani as its Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Bilal, who holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering Systems from the University of Michigan with more than 18 years of industry experience, joins Waseela from Cisco Systems where he held senior positions for the last 10 years.
